We stopped in while in town and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation (will know for next time to make one)! Food was fantastic: we had the filet tips with gorgonzola to start, the chicken milanese and duck breast. All were outstanding! The steak was fork tender and perfectly done, my husband loved the rich mushroom soup before dinner and the wedge salad was great (fantastic blue cheese). My husband cleaned his plate, loving the flavor combination of the port reduction, risotto, and perfectly cooked duck. The chicken milanese was very generously portioned (I'll be having for dinner again) and so flavorful, the epitome of an elevated comfort food! We're excited to go back again when in Indy. Service was great, friendly and efficient. Would also recommend the valet.

Bravo! Dining at Nyla’s was a delicious experience. We sat upstairs. Immediately our server Luke greeted us. He was personable and knowledgeable about the restaurant’s short history and its menu. We started our dining experience with side cars. Beware the cognac is very present. My hubby ordered lamb chops served with augratin potatoes. I was busy eating my perfectly cooked blackened shrimp with zucchini spaghetti when I happened to look up and see him chowing down on a lamb bone. He rarely uses his hands when eating in public but he said they were so good he had to. They do not serve bread but truly it wasn’t missed. We definitely will be dining at Nyla’s again.

This food right here is some of the best food you'll ever get to enjoy. You don't eat it in the traditional sense, this is pure flavor and joy on these plates. You couldn't ask for a better sea bass if you tried, and it's the only sea bass not on a coast that I've ever had were it's actually done right. The crab stuffed mushrooms are fantastic, my only negative review I can't eat more in one ciair. You can tell there's a lot of pride in the food, the atmosphere and from the staff with how well done everything is. Every one of the wait staff is amazing and the cocktails are made fantastically as well. It isn't a cheap trip, but it is one of the best ones you could ever possibly make. Do yourself a favor and find the time to try one of these plates. I know my wife and I will be making many more visits to try out the rest of the menu, it's simply a disservice not to.

Absolutely outstanding experience all around. The service was amazing (shoutout to Taylor, our waitress!) and the food was insanely delicious! We ordered the zucchini fries to start and they were amazing! We then had the mushroom soup....I don’t even have words to describe this soup. It was easily the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. We both had the 7 oz Filet and it was melt in your mouth amazing. We shared the Brussels sprouts and the au gratin potatoes. The Brussels were undercooked for my liking but had amazing flavor and the potatoes were delicious. We ended with the apple crisp and oh my gosh was it the cherry on top. I promise you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to go back!! Phenomenal menu, service, and atmosphere! Thank you Nylas for helping us celebrate our anniversary with such a wonderful experience!

My wife and I made our first visit to Nyla's to celebrate my birthday. We decided to forego the valet parking since there was free street parking available close by. We made reservations the day before, but they weren’t overly busy on that Wednesday evening, and I think we would have been seated quickly regardless. We were warmly greeted by the valet crew, the hostesses at the door, and then by our server, Caroline. Caroline was exceptionally good and made us feel welcome and comfortable. She was thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant, and was articulate, friendly, and excellent in every way. We started our meal with the stuffed mushrooms. l thought they were delicious, but my wife thought they were good but not great. For my entree and sides, I had the Chicken Milanese with mashed potatoes, broccolini and fresh wedge salad with a tangy vinaigrette. My wife ordered the blackened shrimp and zucchini pasta with cream of mushroom soup. As usual, we shared everything. The wedge salad and cream of mushroom soup were both 10 out of 10. My Chicken Milanese was good, with just the right amount of breading and good seasoning and presentation. It could have had a little more flavor, but still very good. I preferred the blackened shrimp with zucchini pasta, with the highlight being the shrimp; the flavor and cook were perfect. The portion sizes were just right. We finished our evening with a complimentary chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream (it was my birthday). It was crazy-good.

First time eating at Nyla‘s and will definitely be back! Taylor, our server was a delight and made sure every need was met in a timely fashion. Loved the quaint, rustic atmosphere, comfy chairs and every course that we tried was top-notch. Highly recommend the goat cheese bowls, the wedge salad was excellent, and we both had the halibut special which was to die for (and I’m not even a fish eater) with a huge portion of white flaky fish served on a generous bit of couscous. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!

Only a mile from our house & we’re wondering WHY we have not been here sooner! I’m a BIG Girl & I was afraid of the tight seating... BUT it was very comfortable seating! Bret was our server he was GREAT! All the staff were attentive, polite & impressive. The staff always looking & watching, not afraid of eye contact.
